A note from the Artist......
Thank you for taking the time to view this compilation of my life's work. Hopefully you have seen something that sparked your interest!
I was born an artist! My life has taken many turns that have influenced the subjects and styles of my paintings, collages, and creations.
My artistic education has included the Rhode Island School of Design, Herron Art School (Indianapolis, IN), art classes at Chautauqua Cultural Institution (NY), Famous Artist Commercial Art Course, and many hours of touring art museums of the world. All have helped to mold my life.
My art style is modern to realistic and everything in between. I am a location painter and do not copy other work - each piece is unique and one of a kind. Most of my work is done in oil or watercolor.
I've been afforded many opportunities in life to see and experience a variety of things - some fortunate, some not so fortunate - but all have opened the door for self-expression. My creations have been kept in trunks, but I'm now printing, framing and hanging my work for others to enjoy. "Dee's Orb at Greenbriar"
or "The Essence of Me"
Since 1950, I have kept a record book noting 4'x7' - oil
the name, medium, size, date of completion,
and other important information about each piece of art. The next chapter of my life is to sell my originals as I cannot take them with me. In the meantime they can be enjoyed by all. This is until I go to be with the GREATEST ARTIST OF ALL! What a Glorious Day that will be!
Always Creating,
"Dee"
